Hengoed Manufacturer Recognised for Excellence in Health and Safety

NORGINE B.V. was handed  a prestigious award in recognition of its practices and achievements in health and safety management systems, such as leadership and workforce involvement.

For five years consistently, Norgine has achieved a Gold Medal in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK. Norgine’s manufacturing sites based in Hengoed, Wales and Dreux, France demonstrated exceptional performance in enabling their staff “get home safely at the end of every working day”.

Norgine has been researching and manufacturing innovative medicines in Hengoed and Dreux since the 1960’s. Manufacturing takes place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to supply medicines around the globe and every year Norgine helps around 23 million patients worldwide.
