Glamorgan County Cricket Club is the only Welsh first-class county cricket team, based at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.

Founded in 1888, they’ve won the County Championship three times and compete in all major domestic formats. Known for their blue and yellow colours, Glamorgan is proud of its rich history and is dedicated to growing the game across Wales through its men’s, women’s and youth programmes.

Sophia Gardens is a 15,000 seater International Stadium in the heart of Cardiff City Centre.  It is home to the England Cricket Team, Welsh Fire and Glamorgan Men’s and Women’s teams.  Sophia Gardens is much more than a cricket stadium though, it is a unique multi-purpose venue located in beautiful parkland with a range or rooms to suit all requirements, first class in house catering and car parking on site.
