First-Ever Wales Tech Week Founding Partners are Announced

The first-ever Wales Tech Week has received an overwhelming number of enquiries, with organisers receiving more than 150 individual event enquiries over past two weeks.

Announced last month, the first-ever Wales Tech Week will be held 13th – 17th July as an ‘open to all’ virtual festival featuring talks, roundtables and workshops from leading figures in the Welsh technology industry.

Since its launch, organisers of the free global festival have seen an influx of enquiries to host and attend events, with attendees set to join the virtual festival from more than 10 countries.

Confirmed events include technology areas such as UX, Blockchain and Cybersecurity, along with sectors specific webinars on Fintech, EdTech, MedTech and manufacturing, as well as free workshop events such as free Digital Marketing, HR, Legal and PR workshops.

The free virtual festival is supported by founding partners Creo Medical, Innovate UK, Thales UK and Wynne Jones-IP, media partners Orchard Media and Events Group and associate partner Illustrate Digital.

Designed to bring the technology community together and showcase the Welsh technology industry on a global scale, Wales Tech Week has been created by Technology Connected, the voice of technology industry in Wales for more than 20 years.
