Digital resilience company, Xcina, has arrived in Wales.
As part of Shearwater Group plc, Xcina has opened its first office in the region in Tec Marina, Penarth. Xcina is looking to support Welsh businesses with building their digital resilience. The company helps organisations protect their critical information assets by preparing them for the increasing legislative and regulatory demands on how data is held and processed as well as the on-going monitoring, analysis, detection and response to cyber threats.
Jason Dunlop, Xcina’s Regional Business Development for Wales commented:
“We are delighted to have established our presence in Wales as part of our expansion strategy. A key focus for Xcina is supporting businesses in preparation for new data protection regulations that come in to force in May 2018 and increasing protection against emerging cyber security threats.
“This is an exciting time for Xcina and we look forward to further announcements in the new year as we continue our investment and expansion in Wales.”
Xcina’s three service offerings comprise:
- Consulting, which is focused on providing governance, compliance, cyber security and technology risk assurance and advisory services;
- Services, including Managed Security Services Provision, data analytics, threat intelligence, and incident response; and
