Credas and Finity Partner to Automate Right to Work Checks for More Than 150,000 UK Workers Monthly

Identity provider Credas Technologies has announced a partnership with Finity, the payroll software platform for UK bureaus, recruitment agencies and umbrella companies, powering automated identity and right to work verification for over 150,000 workers paid through the platform each month.

Finity’s integration embeds Credas’ UK Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework (DIATF) certified verification technology directly into its payroll platform, replacing manual document checks with automated digital verification. The streamlined process saves Finity clients approximately five hours of administrative time for every 100 workers onboarded, while reducing compliance risk and eliminating data entry errors.

Prior to the integration, many payroll providers conducted right to work checks manually – reviewing documents, maintaining records across multiple systems, and managing verification workflows outside their core payroll platform.

Varun Monteiro, CEO of Finity, said:

“Partnering with Credas was a natural step for us. At Finity, we're focused on removing friction from payroll, and identity verification is a critical part of that journey. Too often, right to work checks are manual, time-consuming, and disconnected from the core payroll process.”

A manual check per worker typically takes 2-3 minutes, requiring administrators to switch between systems. With the Credas integration, verification is initiated with a single click, eliminating system-hopping and manual processes.

Monteiro continued:

“By embedding Credas directly into Finity, we've transformed that experience into a seamless, automated workflow. Our clients can now save hours of admin, reduce risk, and manage compliance with confidence – all within a single platform.”

Neil Williams, CTO at Cardiff-based Credas, added:

“Finity's commitment to delivering financial unity through connected systems aligns perfectly with our vision for digital identity verification. By embedding compliance checks directly into the platforms businesses already use, we're removing friction from essential processes. This integration demonstrates how digital verification can deliver both operational efficiency and regulatory confidence – helping payroll providers focus on high-value activities rather than administrative burden.”
