Construction Club Cambria Launches New ‘Futures’ Group to Support Emerging Industry Leaders

The Construction Club Cambria has officially launched a new arm of the not-for‑profit networking and charitable organisation.

Dedicated to supporting the next generation of construction professionals in the region, Construction Club Cambria Futures will provide opportunities for networking, professional development, business collaboration and collective fundraising for local good causes. Created to nurture early‑career professionals, it aims to build a supportive community for aspiring leaders as they develop their careers in the sector.

The group will be initially chaired for its first year by Shauna Rees, Senior Associate in the Real Estate team at Capital Law. Its first event will be a coffee morning on 9 April 2026 to be held in Cardiff at Capital Law.

Shauna is joined on the committee by:

  • Clare Good, Partner, Property Litigation at Knights
  • Carl Randall, Pre‑Construction Manager at Kier
  • Amelia Silk, Solicitor, Real Estate, at Capital Law
  • Adam Platts, Graduate at Kier
  • Charlie Jones, Assistant Site Manager at Kier
  • Ellis Mullane, Trainee QS at TC Consult
  • Priit Jurimae, Architect at MJ Medical
  • Alice Reynolds‑Pryce, Structural Engineer at Arup
  • Sebastian Chucas, Offsite and Modular KAM at Rockwool Core Solutions
  • Cêt Roberts, Senior Planner at DPP

Shaunna Rees said:

“We wanted to create a space where early‑career professionals can network, share best practice, and take part in events, that help build long‑lasting business relationships. Investing in the next generation is essential for maintaining a vibrant and resilient construction sector in Wales.

“We’re grateful for the support of The Construction Club Cambria’s main committee and excited to be part of a platform that not only supports career development but also raises money for good causes across our communities.”

Gareth Hooper, Chair of The Construction Club Cambria, said:

“Championing the next generation of leaders in and around the construction industry is incredibly important for the health of the sector and for the future of our region. The Futures group brings fresh perspectives, energy and innovation, and we’re delighted to support the team as they shape this exciting new chapter for the Club.”

Construction Club Cambria Futures will run its own dedicated programme of events while also collaborating closely with the main Construction Club Cambria network throughout the year.
