Planning Consultancy Strengthens Cardiff Leadership Team

Planning and development consultancy Lichfields has promoted Cem Kosaner to senior director, and Arwel Evans to planning director in its Cardiff office.

Cem Kosaner advises clients on major commercial and residential projects in Wales and the South West of England. Recent projects include the £100 million regeneration of the Grade II* listed former Howells department store in Cardiff city centre into a mixed-use destination, as well as The Rise, the city’s tallest building, delivering 272 build-to-rent homes.

He said:

“Our recent work on the former Howells department store and The Rise, Cardiff’s tallest building, are great examples of urban regeneration. Cardiff is a great place to be and there is plenty more development to come.”

Arwel Evans advises energy infrastructure and residential development clients. His work includes advising Pulse Clean Energy on a synchronous condenser project at Upper Boat near Pontypridd. He also leads on Plasdŵr, a residential led mixed-use urban extension comprising 7,000 new homes, on behalf of the landowners and Barratt Redrow.

James Fennell, Chief Executive of Lichfields, said:

“The company’s success is reflected in the promotion of our staff. Cem and Arwel’s promotions will reinforce the influential role our Cardiff team play in the delivery of much needed development in Wales and the South West of England.”
