Commercial law firm Darwin Gray has welcomed five new team members, bringing the firm’s growth in the last two years to 40%.

Darwin Gray has doubled both its Cardiff and Bangor offices spaces, welcoming a number of new team members across the firm’s legal expertise and support teams.

The latest appointments include expansions of the insolvency, corporate & commercial and commercial disputes teams, as well as a bolstering of firm-wide administrative support.

Associate Vanessa Lovell and Solicitor Tiegan James join the growing commercial disputes team, with Charles Collar joining as a Solicitor in the firm’s specialist insolvency team.

Holly O’Regan joins the corporate and commercial team as a trainee, with Amanda Scanlon joining to support the firm as an Executive Assistant.

Fflur Jones, Darwin Gray’s Managing Partner, said:

“As we head towards the end of 2025, it is fantastic to share even more news of Darwin Gray’s growth and to reflect on what has been another successful year for the firm, including a record number of tender and framework appointments, multiple award wins and more talented people on board to help the firm continue to thrive.”

Alongside its own growth, Darwin Gray has also recently been recognised as a Gold Partner of the Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme (AGP), a flagship initiative supporting ambitious high-potential businesses in Wales to scale and grow.

Fflur added:

“This AGP partnership reflects our commitment to fostering innovation, job creation, and economic development in Wales and supporting the next generation of Welsh business leaders. We are looking forward to what 2026 will bring for Darwin Gray and there’s no sign of slowing down.”
