Clogau Open Latest Store in Historic Merthyr Tydfil

Welsh jewellery brand Clogau is expanding its presence in South Wales, as brand ambassador Gethin Jones and Welsh Commonwealth Games athletes Gemma Frizelle and Aled Sion Davies opened the new store in Merthyr Tydfil this month.

The 5000 sq ft store is located in the prime shopping destination Cyfarthfa Shopping Park alongside an array of retailer giants including H&M, M&S and Next.

Merthyr Tydfil locals can head to the brand-new store and shop some of Clogau’s new ranges – including the Clogau Celebration and Clogau Past Present and Future 1854 collections inspired by love, happiness, and Clogau’s rich history.

Clogau has a unique history of crafting immaculate pieces inspired by the natural beauty of Wales and containing rare Welsh gold from the Clogau St David's gold mine. This precious metal is beloved not only by jewellery enthusiasts but also by the Royal Family, who have used Welsh gold for their wedding rings for over 100 years, including that of Queen Elizabeth II in her marriage to Prince Philip.

Ben Roberts, Managing Director of Clogau, said:

“Merthyr Tydfil is such a historic town with great modern shopping locations and we can’t wait to bring Clogau to the community. Our team will be on hand to deliver the best in-store experience and to make sure you find the perfect gift for a loved one or for yourself ahead of the holidays.”

The Clogau Merthyr Tydfil store is located at Unit 12D, Cyfarthfa Shopping Park, CF48 1HY.
