Clarke Willmott Secures Welsh Government Tender Win

Clarke Willmott LLP has been successful in winning a tender to supply legal services to Welsh Government.

The national firm, with an office in Cardiff at Callaghan Square, has been appointed to framework lots worth more than £3 million.

The firm will supply legal services in a variety of sectors, including civil litigation, criminal litigation, major ICT & commercial contracts and planning & environment law.

Clare Gregory, Cardiff Office Head from 1 April and Welsh Government client relationship manager for Clarke Willmott, said:

“The Welsh Government has always been a valued client of ours so it is great to have been successful on this latest tender and to be able to continue providing legal services for the devolved government responsible for governing Wales.

“The win demonstrates that existing clients really value the quality of the services that we deliver and our continued support.”

Fraser Macrae, a partner in the Cardiff banking and finance team and the firm’s framework manager for the contract, said:

“The appointment to Welsh Government’s panel for a wide range of workstreams is a great illustration of the strength and depth we have here at Clarke Willmott, and testament to our commitment to the Welsh economy.”

Clarke Willmott has vast experience in advising on the issues that affect public sector organisations. Clients include government agencies, urban regeneration companies, local authorities, independent public bodies, clinical commissioning groups and police authorities.
