Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has brought to market Miskin Manor Hotel & Spa in Pontyclun.

Set within 23-acres of award-winning grounds in the heart of the Welsh countryside, Miskin Manor Hotel boasts a rich history dating back to the 10th century. The Grade II listed manor has been home to numerous owners over the years, including the Prince of Glamorgan’s daughter and Judge Gwilym Williams, a statue of whom stands outside the national law courts in Cardiff.

In 1985, the property was transformed into the country manor house hotel it is today and has since become one of South Wales’ premier hotels and wedding venues. The hotel comprises 42 individually designed bedrooms and extensive conference and events facilities, along with an established health club & spa, award-winning restaurant and three helipads.

Richard Thomas, Senior Hotel Broker at Christie & Co, who is handling the marketing process, comments,

“This sale represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to acquire an historically significant and highly regarded Welsh hotel, situated near major demand generators including Cardiff city centre, the ICC and the Welsh countryside. With plenty of potential for development of the current business, we have already experienced a high level of interest in the business prior to launching to market and advise any interested parties to get in touch soonest.”

Whilst no guide price has been set, offers are invited for the freehold interest in Miskin Manor.
