National Grid Electricity Distribution is holding an in‑person event to hear directly from customers and stakeholders about what they need from the electricity network in the years ahead.
Feedback from businesses, local authorities, community groups, charities and public bodies will help inform National Grid Electricity Distribution’s regional investment plans for South Wales for 2028 to 2033.
Sarah Jeffery, head of engagement and insights at National Grid Electricity Distribution, said:
“We want to hear directly from people across South Wales about what matters most to them, so future investment in the electricity network reflects real local needs.
“This feedback will help us shape a plan that targets investment in the right places and delivers a reliable, affordable and resilient network that supports homes, businesses and long‑term economic growth.”
With electricity demand continuing to grow, local insight is essential to ensure investment is targeted in the right places and delivers long‑term value for customers and communities.
The South Wales event will take place at Cardiff City Ground on Wednesday 15 April, from 10am to 3pm, with lunch provided.
