Swansea’s free business advice surgery is on the road again with an event taking place in Penclawdd.

Information about grants and loans will be on hand at the event, which is being held in Penclawdd Community Centre on Victoria Road on Friday April 26.

Organised by Swansea Council and lasting from 10am to 1pm, the drop-in event will also include help with funding applications, advice on recruitment and training, networking opportunities and signposting to relevant agencies.

Council representation at the event will include business support specialists, the pathways to work employability team and a broadband engagement officer.

Other organisations at the event will include Gower College Swansea, Business Wales, Focus Futures and the Development Bank of Wales.

No bookings are needed in advance to attend the event, which is being supported by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Cllr Robert Francis-Davies, Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Investment, Regeneration and Tourism, said:

“Businesses are the lifeblood of Swansea’s economy, so we’re committed to helping them in any way we can.

“The free business advice surgery in Penclawdd is the latest in a number of roadshow events throughout the city as we look to provide support to businesses in all parts of Swansea.

“Many businesses which have attended similar events in recent months have spoken about the benefits of coming along, so we’d encourage other businesses to do the same.”
