Businesses and organisations attending Procurex Wales will be given the opportunity to tell their story through Business News Wales as part of an expanded media partnership for this year's event.
Business News Wales has been confirmed as the Official Welsh Business Media Partner for Procurex Wales for the third consecutive year, with exhibitors and attendees invited to take part in free professionally recorded vox pop video interviews and associated news coverage.
The initiative will give organisations attending the event an opportunity to share their expertise, highlight their work and discuss some of the issues and opportunities shaping public procurement in Wales.
Selected interviews and stories will be published through Business News Wales, helping extend the reach of Procurex Wales and the conversations taking place at the event to the wider Welsh business community.
The offer forms part of a significantly expanded media partnership between Business News Wales and Procurex Wales, which will begin next week with a dedicated programme of procurement-focused editorial content.
The programme will launch with a special Procurex Wales podcast, featuring Grahame Steed, Director of Public Policy and Research at BiP Solutions Ltd, and Richard Dooner, Programme Manager at the Welsh Local Government Association.
The discussion will explore how the procurement landscape is changing and what the next phase of procurement reform could mean for businesses, public bodies and communities across Wales.
It will be followed by a dedicated thought leadership series and a range of news and industry features examining issues including procurement reform, SME access to public contracts, social value, prompt payment, transparency and the growing focus on delivering value beyond lowest price.
The content will run across Business News Wales in the build-up to Procurex Wales and continue through coverage and interviews from the event itself.
