Business News Wales are pleased to have launched a dedicated showcase hub for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
Mental Health Awareness Week (May 15th- May 21st), is an important time for people to come together and show their support for family, friends and work colleagues who may be struggling.
This year's theme is focused on one of the most common mental health problems we can all face, ‘anxiety’.
We have launched this hub to firstly raise awareness of the support available for anyone who may be struggling with their mental wellbeing and secondly, showcase businesses who want to share their stories and practical initiatives of how they promote mindful practices, their advice for managing stress and anxiety and the support services available in both their workplace and in the wider community.
Just like our physical health, taking care of our mental health is a priority. Together, we can break down the stigma and create a more supportive and understanding society.
Mark Powney, Managing Director and Editor of Business News Wales commented:
“Mental health is a critical issue that affects us all at some point in our lives and the stigma surrounding it can often prevent people from seeking the support they need.
That's why the team at Business News Wales are proud to launch this dedicated hub to highlight the support services available and to provide a platform for education and discussion.
We hope this dedicated section will encourage further conversations and help break down those barriers.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who shared their stories and for their contributions in helping to raise awareness for Mental Health Awareness Week 2023.”
