Bridgend Engineering Firm Unveils Strategic Collaboration

Engineering and service solution provider Avantis has joined forces with Zamakona Yards in a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing yard stay solutions for the marine and drilling contracting industry.

Bridgend-based Avantis said the collaboration marked a significant milestone in the efforts of both companies to deliver enhanced yard stay solutions and services to the marine and drilling contracting industry.

It said that the partnership combined Avantis’ long-established engineering and service expertise with Zamakona’s extensive yard facilities, and more than 50 years of experience in the newbuilds and ship repair business throughout a group of shipyards comprising the Northern Iberian Peninsula (Bilbao and San Sebastian, Canary Islands (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), and West Africa (Mauritania-Nouakchott).
