Boots has refurbished its Monmouth store and completed major upgrades to its health, beauty and wellness offering.
The revamped store offers a new healthcare area with an additional, larger consultation room and access to an independent prescribing pharmacist.
Gemma Ramsey, Area Manager, Boots Monmouth, said:
“We know that Boots is central to the community here in Monmouth. We have been so grateful for our customers’ support after the impact of the flood in November and we are delighted to welcome customers to their new and improved Boots.
“Our modernised and extended healthcare space is designed to help our customers through every stage of life. The refit also offers a new and improved pharmacy consultation room, meaning the store can offer an Independent Prescribing service, as well as all NHS services including the Common Ailments Service, flu vaccinations, Discharge Medicine Reviews, and support with contraception. Customers can also recycle their inhalers with us and access cancer support through our trained Boots Macmillan Information Pharmacist.”
Boots Monmouth had to close its doors for a few days after the town centre was hit by flooding, but retained a full dispensing service, and continued to support its customers with a more limited offering during the refurbishment.
