Entrepreneurs in Carmarthenshire will have the opportunity to learn how to Sow the Seeds of Success from BBC Apprentice Winner, Alana Spencer.

This evening conference is designed to support the local community and provide opportunities to explore entrepreneurship and innovation in Wales. This fantastic, free event is hosted by the Focus Carmarthen Enterprise Hub and BUCANIER project in Canolfan S4C Yr Egin on 27th November 2019.

Attendees will have the chance to hear all about Alana Spencer’s inspirational business journey.  Alana has achieved great success in the Welsh food and drink sector and currently runs her prosperous business Ridiculously Rich by Alana. Beginning as a self-taught chocolatier at the young age of 16 in her family country kitchen in West Wales, the luxury handmade cake business is flourishing with over 50 ambassadors. Following her time on TV show, The Apprentice with Lord Sugar, Alana will share her experiences of running and developing her business ideas and opening a new bakery in Aberystwyth.

“We are delighted to welcome Alana Spencer to Yr Egin to share her experiences, offer top tips in business and inspire our audience. If you run a business, a side hustle, have a business idea or simply want to network with the local community, then come along, enjoy and be inspired.

The Hub looks forward to attracting high profile speakers to Yr Egin throughout 2020. Everyone is welcome to come along to enjoy the evening, network and taste Alana’s delicious brownies.” Gwenllian Thomas, Enterprise Engagement Co-ordinator at the Enterprise Hub.

The Enterprise Hub in Carmarthen is a collaborative, creative space where entrepreneurs can work alongside each other and gain support to get their business idea off the ground.
