Business News Wales has been confirmed as the Official Welsh Business Media Partner for Procurex Wales for the third consecutive year, with a dedicated programme of procurement-focused content set to launch this week.
The partnership will see Business News Wales launch a podcast episode, thought leadership articles and industry features around some of the biggest issues facing public procurement in Wales, ahead of Procurex Wales.
The programme will begin with a special Procurex Wales podcast, bringing together Grahame Steed, Director of Public Policy and Research, BiP Solutions Ltd and Richard Dooner, Programme Manager, Welsh Local Government Association to explore how the procurement landscape is changing and what the next phase of procurement reform could mean for businesses, public bodies and communities across Wales.
This will be followed by a dedicated thought leadership series and a range of news and industry features examining areas including procurement reform, SME access to public contracts, social value, prompt payment, transparency and the growing focus on delivering value beyond lowest price.
For the first time, Business News Wales will also extend its media partnership directly to businesses exhibiting at Procurex Wales.
Every exhibitor at this year's event will be offered a free professionally recorded vox pop video interview and accompanying news feature for publication through Business News Wales, providing organisations with an opportunity to showcase their expertise, products and perspectives to the wider Welsh business community.
The initiative is designed to extend the conversation beyond the event itself and provide exhibitors with additional visibility before, during and following Procurex Wales.

The Procurex Wales content programme will begin next week on Business News Wales, with the special podcast episode followed by a series of features and expert columns in the run-up to the event.
Procurex Wales takes place on 11 November 2026 and brings together buyers, suppliers, procurement professionals and policymakers from across Wales' public procurement community.
