Award-winning Welsh digital transformation firm, de Novo Solutions, has today (Thursday 17th September) announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive.
Lynette Slater is set to provide fresh experience and perspective to lead the business through its next stage of growth – whilst retaining its augural values and ambitions. She will be supported by a strengthened senior leadership team and Founder Mark Sweeny, who has taken on the role of Executive Chairman.
An accomplished leader with more than 30 years of experience within insurance, financial services and software organisations, Lynette has led multi-million-pound change portfolios, built an award-winning professional services function, and is adept at turning strategic priorities into practical, value-led delivery.
She will work alongside the 150-strong de Novo team, focusing on investment in skills and tools, further strengthening ways of working, and creating even more progression opportunities for staff. Having pledged to retain the company's values and approach to digital transformation, Lynette will oversee the pivotal work being undertaken with clients across central and local government, police, education and private sectors to achieve better outcomes through digital transformation and AI.

To further strengthen its leadership team, Tracy Stephenson becomes de Novo's Chief Financial Officer, Alex Alexandru has been promoted from VP Finance Experiences to Chief Operating Officer for Consulting, and Helen Crisostomo from VP Business Development to Chief Commercial Officer – with all taking new positions as Board Advisors. Tara Dewar will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer for BPO and Support Services, and Chief People Officer Charlene Young will assume responsibility for IT and Compliance.
