Ambition North Wales is inviting expressions of interest from two “outstanding” private sector leaders to shape the future of the region’s economy through the creation of a new Business Advisory Board.
The Advisors will sit as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board, which will provide strategic insight, constructive challenge, and informed support to both Ambition North Wales and the North Wales Corporate Joint Committee.
Acting as a bridge between the business community and decision-makers, the Non-Executive Advisors will influence policy direction, champion innovation, and ensure the region’s economic ambitions are grounded in real-world opportunity.
Ambition North Wales said that successful candidates will be inspiring leaders who can bring:
- Significant experience in business leadership or regional economic development.
- Deep understanding of the North Wales economic landscape and its potential.
- Commitment to inclusive, sustainable, and long-term economic growth.
Alwen Williams, Chief Executive, Ambition North Wales, said:
“This is a unique and exciting opportunity for strategic, bold thinkers with a passion for regional development to make a lasting impact on North Wales’ economic trajectory.
“It’s important we have the right people at the helm of the new Business Advisory Board – as a dynamic, forward-thinking body designed to drive meaningful, inclusive economic transformation.”
Those interested in being considered for one of the two Non-Executive Advisor roles should submit an expression of interest by 5pm on 22 August 2025.
