Military Veterans Launch Health and Fitness Movement for Communities Across Wales

Veteran-led organisation Forces Fitness has launched a health, well-being, and resilience programme across Wales.

The initiative of free community days is being rolled out in partnership with local councils and grant providers with events taking place in locations including Newport, Swansea, Coity, Bridgend, Pyle, Kenfig Hill, Cefn Cribwr, Porthcawl, Rudbaxton, Pembrokeshire, Vale of Glamorgan, Caerphilly, Bargoed, and Maesteg.

Each day is designed to bring communities together, encouraging participants to improve their physical and mental health while building confidence, resilience, and lasting friendships. Activities include group fitness training, lifestyle and nutrition tips, and fun team-building challenges.

“Our aim is simple: build stronger communities, help people feel fitter and healthier, and ensure they have fun doing it,” said  Sean Molino, founder of Forces Fitness. “The feedback so far has been incredible — it’s proof that these sessions are making a real difference.”
