The Potential of Tech Talent in North Wales

The team at North Wales Tech describe themselves as a bunch of like-minded people working in the IT and software development industries in North Wales.

Carwyn Edwards, the Co-Founder of North Wales Tech chats to Business News Wales about the current tech landscape in North Wales.

Chatting to Presenter Sam Cook, Carwyn has said that the aim of the ‘meet-up’ group is to “build the company that [they] wish that they had”. He also chats about how he wants to escape the stigma that North Wales is not current in regards to technology.

Carwyn, who used to live in Edinburgh, describes how North Wales is home to several tech companies. He says, “there is already far more going on in the North of the country than you might realise” and estimates that there are 1000 technology companies in North Wales.
