International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity and the race is on to build a more gender-balanced world – #BalanceforBetter
In celebration of International Women’s Day, this event will focus on the theme of Women in Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; it will showcase some of the extraordinary successes women in Wales have had over recent years, along with exploring the breakthrough’s being made in terms of gender equality, and some of the main challenges that still exist today that we can work together to address.
The event is open to all, free to attend, and includes the following line-up:
