This half-day event provides an opportunity to discuss the strategic nature of city deals and to learn from research and practice across the UK and internationally. The event’s speakers will highlight the key policy implications of city deals and provoke a discussion on the challenges and opportunities these new structures present.

The event begins with a networking lunch and is aimed at decision-makers, those working in local authorities, businesses and academic researchers.

The event is organised collaboratively between Swansea University’s Morgan Academy and the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research, Data and Methods (WISERD).
