Description
Is your business equipped to use emerging technologies, and set up with the right skills to innovate? Are you not only future-proof, but actually leading the way?
Centre of Excellence in Mobile and Emerging Technologies (CEMET), based at the University of South Wales, believes that innovation is a vital part of business growth. It supports Welsh businesses that are seeking to create new products, solutions and services through bespoke funded collaborative research projects.
At this session, CEMET will be outlining how SMEs can join forces with its dedicated research and development (R&D) team to provide market leading products and services that can shape the future.
Once you have created your innovation, is it something you can protect? Top 100 UK law firm Hugh James will be with us to discuss intellectual property – what it is, the different types of protection and whether the right protection is automatic or will need to be applied for.
Finally Lime R&D, Cardiff-based Chartered Tax Advisers specialising in R&D tax credit claims, will be discussing this tax incentive created to reward companies who try to achieve something technically challenging.
This event is open to all – you do not need to be a NatWest customer to attend.
