£16 Million Funding to Support Businesses for Trading Post-Brexit

HMRC are offering access to £16 Million in funding to support business in trading post-brexit.

The fund aims to help businesses train staff in making customs declarations, and to help businesses who support others to trade goods to invest in IT.

Businesses based in, or with a branch in, the UK can apply for funding ahead of the UK leaving the EU.

Grants can be used to support:

  • training costs for businesses who complete customs declarations, or who intend to in the future
  • funding for IT improvement, which is available to small and medium sized employers who are currently involved in trade as an intermediary

For further information on the scheme and to apply, please visit the GOV.UK website.

Visit the Business Wales Brexit Portal for support for your business through Brexit, helping you to mitigate the risk, and identify the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
