Wynnstay Group Plc Announces the Appointment of Steve Collard as Managing Director


Wynnstay Group Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Collard as Managing Director, Stores & Buying, further strengthening the Group's leadership team as it continues to enhance its customer proposition and deliver on its long-term strategic ambitions.

Steve joins Wynnstay with extensive retail, commercial and operational leadership experience gained across several major UK retail businesses. Most recently, he served as Head of Stores, People and Central Operations at Mole Avon, where he played a key role in delivering the company's strategic growth plans, leading store operations, people management and business integration activities.

Prior to this, Steve was Retail Director at Pets & Friends, where he led a significant transformation programme that delivered strong business growth and operational improvements. His career also includes senior leadership positions with The Works, Countrywide Country Stores, Lloyds Pharmacy, Currys and Matalan.

Steve's appointment comes at an exciting time for Wynnstay as the Group continues to progress Genesis and invest in the future development of its retail and buying operations. During his first few weeks with the business, he will spend time visiting stores and meeting colleagues across the Group to gain a deeper understanding of customers, operations and future opportunities for growth.
