Alongside 14 other companies, Talent Ticker will develop three graduates through structured work placements at their offices in Cardiff city centre over a two year period and support their achievement of a MSc in Data Science, delivered by the University of South Wales.

This forward thinking scheme’s vision which is supported by EU funding, is to create a best in class, graduate development programme in Data Science which will create and retain a high calibre talent and develop a data science community in the region. With many tech companies looking to expand into Wales, this Programme is helping to ensure that skills and talent are being nurtured locally.

Talent Ticker will develop these graduates skills sets in a range of roles within Data Science, giving students valuable and relevant work experience, whilst also learning other key elements about company culture and ways of working.

Programme Manager Rowena O’Sullivan, had to say:

“This programme has been specifically designed to attract and retain top graduates with the chance to start their careers via a unique pathway that is only available in Wales. We are delighted to be working with Talent Ticker on this project as they offer a unique and exciting environment as a tech startup for graduates to be part of.”

Talent Ticker’s Head of Technology Aled Jones commented:

“I’m very proud to be working with the Welsh Contact Centre Forum on such a unique programme and keeping talent in Wales, I only wish there had been such a scheme years ago after I did my degree in Wales. It’s great to be inspiring the next generation and part of something so prestigious, as Data Science becomes more of a crucial  role within our society.”
