Redrow Homes has recognised the success of its Vale of Glamorgan development Tinkinswood Green with two significant wins at its annual Central and West Regional Building Responsibly Conference Awards 2019.

The development, surrounded by beautiful countryside with easy links to Cardiff, was named as the Regional Chief Executive’s Site of the Year and the Divisional Site of the Year for the housebuilder’s South Wales branch.

Redrow’s high standards of quality are reflected in the new-build homes across the site and, as a result of the team’s commitment, Tinkinswood Green has achieved an impressive 93% recommendation score by its residents during 2018 and has been highlighted as an example of building strong relationships and great homes.

Collecting the awards at the conference was site manager Steve Helm, and commenting on the wins, he said:

“We’ve worked hard to ensure that the development is built to incredibly high safety and quality standards, and it’s great that this is something being celebrated by Redrow.

“Tinkinswood Green is a beautiful development and we’re thrilled that the residents moving in here are so happy with their new homes.”

Managing director of Redrow South Wales Tim Stone said:

“We are exceptionally proud of the success of our division as well as the achievements made across our developments.

“Events such as the Building Responsibly Awards give us an opportunity to reward our site teams who have worked extremely hard with their developments over the year, as well as giving them all the opportunity to engage with their peers and compare the performance of sites throughout the region.”

The awards also acknowledged a number of staff members for their long service to the company, including acting site manager Paul Horton and assistant site manager Gareth Gibbs, who have both been with Redrow for over a decade.

Another winner on the night was Sudbrook based development Mill Meadows, which collected the award for Divisional Health, Safety and Environment Site of the Year. Led by site manager Rob Summers, the development won the award after recording a year of exceptionally good housekeeping, organisation and high standards ensuring a safe environment.

The site management team working at Mill Meadows has shown diligent dedication to maintaining health and safety standards, ensuring that the site receives consistently high scores on inspections.
