Two of the UK’s biggest science and tech event organisers have joined forces for this year’s Digital conference and Expo, as Wales’ most celebrated innovation showcase heads to Cardiff for the first time.
Nucleus Expo will host the event’s start-up zone, working in tandem with the Digital team, marking an exciting evolution for the September tech expo.
On 18th and 19th September, Digital will transform Tramshed Tech and the surrounding area into a hub for more than 2,000 digital innovators, entrepreneurs and investors; a custom space to make connections, do business and talk tech.
Last year’s event Digital 2016, was supported by the Welsh Government – the event’s main sponsor since 2013. As part of a 2017 branding evolution the event has been re-branded as, simply, Digital.
The addition of Nucleus will bring experience and value to an already exciting format. From interactive workshops and meeting spaces, dedicated investor zones and an exhibition arena, the start-up zone will offer its central stage for demonstrators, presenters, lively panel sessions and keynote talks from world-leading companies and inspirational entrepreneurs.
Nucleus Founder and CEO, Layla-Jane Stacey, said:
“We couldn’t be happier partnering with the new-look Digital. The chance to turn our own Nucleus Wales event into a collaborative project with the country’s biggest science and tech expo was one we jumped at.
“We will ensure we bring the biggest names under one roof to showcase what the future holds in one of the UK’s most buoyant markets.”
