Gambit Corporate Finance LLP has expanded its team and recruited two new employees to its award-winning advisory firm.

Ewa Modzelewska joins as a Manager and Michael Dunn joins as an Analyst.

Ewa began her career working in financial audit at KPMG, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. During her tenure, she was responsible for analysing the performance of mid-market companies across various industries and gained an in-depth understanding of commercial decisions and their impact. Ewa was subsequently drawn to corporate finance and specialised in the field in 2017. As a Manager at Gambit, Ewa will be tasked with project managing M&A transactions across a range of sectors, including disposals, acquisitions, management buy-outs and fundraising assignments.

Ewa commented “I moved to the UK some 10 years ago from Poland and so I greatly believe that international opportunities are incredibly important for individuals as well as companies. I was therefore immediately drawn to the fact that Gambit is the exclusive UK shareholder of the CFI Group, (www.thecfigroup.com) which enables our clients to access global opportunities, taking our work beyond the UK.”

Michael is a Cardiff University Business School graduate who has always had a strong interest in the world of business and finance. On graduation, he joined the global insurance company Atradius. After working at the City of London Insurance Market for three years as a Structured Credit & Political Risk Underwriter, Michael experienced multiple touchpoints with the corporate finance world, and it became clear to him that this it was a discipline that he was keen to get involved in.

Geraint Rowe, Partner commented “At a time of instability in political and macroeconomic markets, the firm is expanding both sectorally and geographically. We are delighted that Ewa and Mike have joined the team and we have plans to further increase the team in the short-term.”
