Workspace and innovation community Tramshed Tech has announced a joint venture with Pitchfork & Provision.
The café at Tramshed Tech's One Central Square site, previously known as Da Coffi, will now operate under the Pitchfork & Provision brand. Tramshed Tech remains a partner in the venture.
Rich Harris, COO at Tramshed Tech, said:
“Tramshed Tech is all about creating spaces where people come together to build businesses, share ideas and create opportunities. The best innovation doesn't just happen in meeting rooms; it happens over great coffee and great food.
“Pitchfork & Provision shares our commitment to quality, sustainability and championing Welsh produce, making them a natural fit for our community. This partnership is about far more than opening a café, it's about bringing together two Welsh brands with shared values and showcasing the very best of Welsh enterprise to everyone who walks through our doors.”
Rachel Mabbitt, COO at Pitchfork & Provision, which was established in Llandeilo, said:
“Food is at the heart of what we do and brings such a sense of purpose for us. The partnership with Tramshed Tech brings the opportunity to bring together two key elements of collaboration in seeking to offer both a fantastic work environment as well as a food experience to complement one another.
“Our approach is in the desire to feed people properly, given how we pride ourselves on making everything ourselves in-house as well as sourcing the best ingredients. That leads us on to championing the Welsh supply chain, so whether it's our single origin coffee from our friends Coaltown in Ammanford, our organic milk from Daisy Bank in Montgomery or the organic meats from Myrddin Heritage in Carmarthen, these are the additions to the quality and offering we wish to share as one of the few independents in the heart of the city we're immensely proud of.”
