Torfaen Business Expo to take Place at Cwmbran Stadium

Businesses from across South Wales are being invited to attend the Torfaen Business Expo, taking place at Cwmbran Stadium on Thursday March 5.

Organised by Torfaen Council’s business engagement team, the event will bring together more than 50 exhibitors, industry experts and guest speakers for a full day of networking, learning and collaboration.

Designed to support businesses of all sizes and sectors, the Expo offers an opportunity for entrepreneurs, SMEs, start ups and established organisations to connect, share ideas and explore new opportunities within the region.

Visitors can expect a busy exhibition space featuring a wide range of local and regional businesses, alongside a dedicated speakers’ zone. A facilitated networking and meeting area will also provide structured opportunities to build connections and start new conversations.

The event’s keynote speaker will be Andrew Jenkins, a former finalist from the second series of the BBC show ‘The Traitors’. A mental health advocate and motivational speaker, he will share his journey of recovery following a serious car accident that left him in a coma for four weeks and unable to walk. His story will form part of a wider speaker programme focused on business growth, resilience and wellbeing.

Cllr Joanne Gauden, Executive Member for Economy, Skills and Regeneration at Torfaen Council, said:

“Torfaen Business Expo will be a fantastic opportunity for local businesses and those interested in investing in the borough to meet and discuss opportunities.

“But it's important to recognise the relationship between being successful in business and maintaining good mental health.

“Andrew's personal story will be relevant whether you are just starting out as an entrepreneur or you're an experienced CEO.”

The event is open to businesses of all sizes and sectors and is free to attend. As well as providing a platform for exhibitors to showcase their services, the Expo supports the wider community, with proceeds donated to The King's Trust, a charity that helps young people aged 11 to 30 from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop skills and confidence.

Businesses interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance via the event’s Eventbrite link.

The event is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund
