Thomas Carroll, the independent risk management and insurtech business, has been named as one of the top ten businesses in Wales to work for.
Last year it was number 18 in the Welsh list, but this year it shot up the rankings to number nine in the list of the Best Companies to Work For in Wales 2025.
The employee-owned business was also ranked fourth in list of the best insurance companies to work for, again beating last year, where it was placed at number seven.
Thomas Carroll was also named as one of the Top 50 mid-sized companies to Work for in the UK – marking 18 consecutive years of inclusion in this list. It climbed from number 67 in 2024, to number 44 this year.
This year has also seen the Group achieve 2-star status, meaning that it is officially an “outstanding company to work for”.
The Best Companies rankings are based on detailed employee surveys, which measure aspects such as personal growth, wellbeing and the company’s commitment to social value principles.
