Swansea BID Set to Host the Big Vegan Weekend

Swansea Business Improvement District are launching a new event for 2022 – the Big Vegan Weekend. Set to take place on the 23 and 24 July in Swansea city centre.

Vendors will line Castle Gardens and Oxford Street selling vegan food and goods. The event will take place over two days from 10 am to 4 pm daily. Visitors can expect live music, entertainment, and a wide selection of vegan produce.

Andrew Douglas, Swansea BID Operations Manager said:

“We’ve seen a rise in small businesses throughout the city centre and many of them offer a fantastic range of food. We wanted to do something a little different so we’re hosting the Big Vegan Weekend to give people the opportunity to perhaps try something they haven’t before.”

“We host events like the Big Vegan Weekend to give businesses and visitors the chance to connect. Local events help increase footfall to the city and mean more money is invested in the local economy. Many of our businesses will be taking part so it’s great for us to be able to bring people together and showcase what’s available in Swansea,”

said Douglas.

The event is free for all visitors to attend and will include children’s entertainment, circus acts and more. Parking is available for £2 for the day in all Swansea Council car parks in the city centre (when you park after 9:30 am). More information is available on the event page.
