Business News Wales has appointed Stephanie Stephens as Head of Marketing and Communications.
An experienced marketer who has founded her own consultancy and worked with more than 150 brands across a range of industries, Steph will lead on growing the visibility and impact of Business News Wales as it further establishes itself as the pre-eminent business-to-business news site for Wales.
Steph’s most recent role was as Marketing and Communications Manager at Technology Connected, where she spent more than four years helping to champion and raise the profile of the Welsh tech sector. During this time, she led the marketing strategy for Wales Tech Week 2025, Wales's largest international tech summit.
Mark Powney, Managing Director of Business News Wales, said:
“Steph joins Business News Wales at a pivotal point for the company and for Wales as a whole.
“With a Senedd election in May, challenging economic conditions and ongoing geopolitical tensions, businesses, the public sector, politicians and policymakers in Wales increasingly need an authentic, reliable source of news, views and insight.
“Demand for our services is higher than ever, and with Steph’s skills, experience and network we will be able to reach and support even more of our target audience than ever before.”
Steph said:
“Having worked closely with the Business News Wales team in previous roles, I've seen first-hand the quality of support they offer to businesses. I’m delighted to be joining the team at such an important time to help amplify the message around what Business News Wales does and to work with Mark to continue developing the firm’s services.”
