Speedy Freight Launches New South Wales Franchise

Speedy Freight, the UK’s leading provider of urgent or sensitive transport, has launched a new branch covering South Wales and its major cities, including Cardiff, Newport and Swansea.

The new branch, opened yesterday will also generate up to 40 local jobs, from Business Development and Traffic Planning to Preferred Driver opportunities.

Ceryn Hopkins, General Manager says,

“I’m excited to join the Speedy Freight business and provide a tailor-made, responsive same-day courier service for local businesses in South Wales.”

“We are offering a cost-effective service for customers who need things doing fast. South Wales is a manufacturing hot spot and our services come into their own when unexpected issues arise. From delivering essential building materials to just-in-time parts to keep production lines running, we can put a plan in place in minutes to get ingredients and parts where they need to be” says Hopkins.

“To service local businesses, we are now recruiting up to 40 owner drivers – mostly of vans, to our preferred driver group. Perfectly placed and well connected with the M4 corridor and M5, Speedy Freight in South Wales is ready to get on the road for planned and emergency same day courier services,” says Hopkins.
