Welsh recruitment agency, Burns Recruitment are planning their next stages of expansion following a highly successful year in 2018 and first quarter of 2019.

The company have already grown in headcount and their client base has developed substantially in recent years, growing from supporting small local businesses to now also supporting worldwide brands with their recruitment needs right across the UK. With ambitious growth plans, MD Angela Archer plans to invest further into the business expansion.

With their headquarters still in South Wales, they have big plans for the year ahead. With two new experienced Recruiters and a Marketing Manager due to start, they have plans to appoint three more experienced Consultants before the end of Q3. They have also recently launched a brand new candidate-focused website.

Angela Archer said:

“Our new look reflects our new aim – we’ve stripped the business right back and developed a new strategy for growth. Burns Manufacturing Services will focus purely within Manufacturing continuing to cover the Temporary and Permanent Market throughout the UK . We will continue to work hard with the aim to  recruit additional, experienced talent in the coming months to drive Burns Recruitment, as a group, into new, exciting areas”.

“We’ve worked very hard for nearly 10 years to ensure we are giving our clients and candidates the service they deserve.  My dream is to offer the same service to other industries and expand the business further but Burns Manufacturing services is purely for Manufacturing clients. We are very excited to have new members within the team, to grow our client base but most importantly continue to nurture our existing relationships with our clients and candidates. Our main focus is to ensure our brand within manufacturing isn't diluted and Burns Manufacturing Services will take over the exceptional work with all of our Manufacturing and Engineering clients. Nothing will change in terms of our specialist focus, and our existing skilled and determined Consultants will remain in those markets.”

Senior Consultant Gerwyn added:

“We've seen competitors expand and lose their focus, trying to become a ‘one stop shop'. We really want to make sure we stay true to our roots but give ourselves a platform to expand into other areas. This is an exciting year for us and I cant wait to team up with our new starters”
