South Wales Nissan Dealership Transformed by £400,000 Refurbishment Project

A Nissan dealership in South Wales has undergone a £400,000 refurbishment and now proudly showcases the brand’s smart new corporate identity.

The dealership in question is Bassetts Nissan Swansea, where staff and customers alike are loving the fresh new look and improved facilities.

Nissan’s updated visuals are nothing if not striking, with the modern, flat and two-dimensional design of its new logo signifying its continuous evolution towards becoming an innovative mobility brand of the future.

The refined logo is part of the new Nissan retail experience. In partnership with its UK network, the manufacturer has worked to ensure that its dealerships represent a continuous commitment to innovation with a customer-centric approach.

As well as looking smart on the outside, Bassetts Nissan Swansea, in Neath Road, Morriston, has undergone a substantial makeover inside. The team do everything possible to ensure that visitors feel welcome and able to explore the Nissan range in a way that suits them, while enjoying complimentary refreshments.

Among the new additions to the premises are a new boardroom, a revamped workshop with new ramps and catering facilities, plus additional office space.

Bassetts Motor Group, which operates a sister Nissan dealership in Bridgend, couldn’t have chosen a better time to strengthen its relationship with the manufacturer.

Nissan’s all-electric ARIYA is the current Auto Express Car of the Year; Qashqai and Juke are now equipped with Nissan’s unique e-POWER system; and the LEAF EV is as popular as ever.

Ioan Harries, Dealer Principal at Swansea, said:

‘‘We’re delighted that our refurbishment project is complete. The dealership has had a complete overhaul to bring it right up to date and it looks wonderful with ample space to display the whole Nissan range.

‘‘Nissan’s new corporate identity is very eye-catching – it’s certainly helping to get us noticed. Feedback from our staff and customers has been very positive and there are two elements in particular that we are highlighting with prospective purchasers – our expertise in electrified motoring and the fact that so many great Nissan models are built right here in Britain.’’

Spencer Clayton-Jones, Dealer Network Development Director, Nissan GB, said:

‘‘We are delighted that Bassetts Nissan Swansea has adopted our new corporate identity and wish them every success as they settle into the new surroundings.

‘‘The redeveloped dealership looks fantastic and is the perfect environment in which to showcase the great cars in the Nissan range.’’
