Shortlist Announced for The Vale of Glamorgan Business Awards 2025

The shortlist for the Vale of Glamorgan Business Awards 2025 has been unveiled.

Organised by Grapevine Event Management, the awards honour excellence across a wide range of sectors, including Financial & Professional Services, Retail, Tourism & Leisure, and more. The organisers said the judging panel was impressed by the high standard and diversity of entries, and after careful deliberation, the shortlist has now been finalised.

David Stevens, Chair of Judges, said:

“It’s a pleasure to return as Chair of Judges for another year. These awards provide a valuable opportunity to recognise the individuals and teams driving the region’s business community. I look forward to meeting the shortlisted business owners and leaders to learn more about their contributions and the real difference they are making to economic growth in the Vale of Glamorgan.”

Liz Brookes, Founder of the Awards and Director of Grapevine Event Management, said:

“We’re thrilled to unveil this shortlist for 2025. The calibre of finalists reflects the strength and innovation of the local business community that these awards aim to celebrate. We look forward to hearing more about the incredible work they’re doing to shape the Vale.”

This year, 12 award categories will be contested, with over 42 interviews taking place across two days. The judging panel, comprised of sponsors and a selection of regional and wider industry experts, will meet each of the shortlisted businesses during panel interviews, all overseen by the chair of judges David Stevens.

The winners will be announced on Friday 3 October 2025 at a black-tie ceremony held at The Vale Resort. Guests will come together to celebrate the excellence in wider business community with an evening entertainment and valuable networking opportunities.

The chosen charity for 2025 is Mind Cymru, and guests can take the opportunity to show their support through donations on the night, or optionally when purchasing their event tickets.
