Seal of Excellence for Redrow Site Manager

Site Manager Craig Thomas from the Rhondda has been awarded the Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence Award for the fifth year in a row.

Established by the National House Building Council (NHBC), the Pride in the Job Award celebrates the exceptional contribution site managers make in creating homes of outstanding quality. Pride in the Job, first launched over 40 years ago, is the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry.

Judging for the Awards is rigorous, with each site manager assessed across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety.

Awarded the Seal of Excellence for his work at Redrow’s Mill Meadows development near Caldicot, Craig is now Site Manager of the De Clare Gardens development in Caerphilly. He first joined Redrow in 2018 after working for a small local house builder and has been awarded the Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence Award for the fifth year in a row. He was also a runner-up in the 2022 Supreme Awards, large builder category.

Tim Sexton, Construction Director for Redrow in South Wales commented:

“A Pride in the Job award is the most prestigious industry accolade a site manager can achieve, and competition gets tougher each year. Exceptional site managers have never been more important and we are hugely proud of all of our site managers, particularly Craig. The award is well-deserved and testament to his hard work and leadership skills.”
