Cardiff law firm Robertsons Solicitors has appointed solicitor Chris Barber as a Director.
Chris joined the firm in 2011 having studied Law and French at Cardiff University and his LPC at Bristol. His main area of law is family matters and he also carries out work in civil litigation disputes. Chris also recently became the firms first qualified mediation specialist, which is an area of growth for the firm.
He said:
I’m delighted to have been appointed a Director here at Robertsons, it’s wonderful to have been a part of the firm’s steady growth, particularly during the last three years, and I look forward to continuing to drive this growth forward.
In addition to his fee-based work, Chris has been at the helm of the firm’s move into new areas, specifically it’s Specialist Property Department, developing its high net worth family law client base and of course, mediation.
Chris, a husband and father of two, is also keen to ensure that the firm continues its drive to support the community in which it operates. He is a trustee of local charity, The Autism Directory, is a parent governor and hosts drop-in sessions for the Cardiff Women’s Refuge. He is also the author of ‘Law for start-up businesses'.
