The PRCA’s third DARE Awards held at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel on Thursday night, recognised PR and comms excellence in eight categories.

Categories included consultancy of the year, in-house team of the year and a public sector and third sector award. Consultancy of the year was awarded to Remarkable Group, with judges noting that the consultancy is “a company with real momentum, impressive growth and great client testimonials”. In-house team of the year went to Confused.com. Judges said: “It blew all of the others out of the water. The highly creative team produced some major campaigns this year and are deserved winners.”

Golley Slater won the consumer relations award as well as the digital and social strategy award for its ‘Launching CityJet’ and ‘Name the Plane’ – both for Cardiff Airport – campaigns respectively. The judges especially noted “the ingenuity and finesse used in both campaigns, as well as their seamless integration into the wider field.”
