A life changing opportunity for people to learn how to start their  own business with almost next to nothing except enthusiasm and determination is what’s on offer at the Torfaen PopUp Business School taking place between 11th – 13th February 2019.

The Congress Theatre at Cwmbran Shopping Centre will play host to this FREE 3 day event which is open to anyone who wants to gain the support and tools along with the confidence to take those first steps towards making that first sale.

Taking an unconventional approach to business start up that doesn’t involve reams of business plans and spreadsheets, the Business PopUp School team aim to inspire and empower people through practical  sessions, one-to-one coaching, workshops and peer support to ensure participants go away with a clear path forward.

Simon Paine, co-founder of the PopUp Business School says

“The PopUp Business School is a world-leading alternative  business school and has been featured in Forbes, BBC and NBC news. We deliver inspirational business training across the UK, New Zealand and recently the USA. This will be our first event in Torfaen and we are really looking forward to helping local people test and launch their business ideas. The message is simple. Business has changed so the way to start one needs to change.”

Torfaen PopUp Business School is being held in partnership with and funded by Torfaen Economy and  Enterprise at Torfaen council.

Councillor Alan Jones, Executive Member for Business, Culture, Leisure and Tourism at Torfaen council says

“If you or someone you know wants to build a business and  turn your ideas into reality, then I would encourage any budding entrepreneur to attend this event. In addition, free and ongoing support sessions for anyone starting their new business will be run by the  Torfaen Economy and Enterprise team after the event.”
