An interactive photobooth roadshow is set to tour Wales in a bid to help people understand changes to the Senedd.
The Senedd election on May 7 will see a new voting system, the Senedd expanding from 60 to 96 Members and the introduction of new constituencies.
The Senedd’s interactive “More Power to You” Photobooth Roadshow will tour Wales this April. It is designed to encourage people across Wales – particularly young people and first-time voters – to engage with Welsh democracy and to vote.
Visitors to the roadshow will be invited to take part in a shareable photobooth experience while learning more about what the Senedd does and how its decisions affect everyday life.
Alongside the interactive element, information will be provided about how and when to vote in the election. The team can help people register on the spot, or chat about how they can vote.
A group of Welsh online creators will join the roadshow and make TikToks, reels, stories and other content. Their involvement is part of a wider plan to reach people who are voting for the first time or who don’t usually vote.

“I’m so excited to partner up with the Senedd to put young people’s future in the frame. It’s so important they know HOW to vote come the 7th of May, and what their vote means for them, too. See you in Cardiff.”
By bringing the campaign directly into shopping centres and colleges, the “More Power to You” roadshow aims to make voting information accessible, visible and relevant.
The interactive experience will visit:
- Eagles Meadow, Wrexham – April 8
- McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend, Bridgend – April 10
- St David’s 2, Cardiff – April 11
And will then continue into further education settings to directly engage students and first-time voters:
- Coleg Menai, Llangefni – April 14
- Coleg Sir Benfro, Haverfordwest – April 15
- Coleg y Cymoedd, Nantgarw – April 16
The roadshow sits within a wider campaign designed to ensure people across Wales can access accurate, timely information about this year’s election.
Activity includes:
- Digital out-of-home (DOOH), billboards and kiosks placed across Wales to maximise visibility during key campaign weeks, including during the Wales Six Nations home campaign.
- Sky AdSmart, ITVX and video-on-demand advertising
- Digital press ads, in-game placements and TikTok/YouTube campaigns
- Digital audio ads on Spotify and Bauer
- Education sessions, website updates, social content, customer service support and community outreach.
