,

As part of its plans to support existing and new businesses within the city centre during the Covid-19 crisis, Newport Now BID will be hosting fortnightly virtual business support clinics starting on Tuesday, February 16, at 2pm.

The free clinics will be open to existing Newport Now BID businesses needing help with any issues within their business as they prepare to exit lockdown. Also invited to attend are any businesses considering opening or relocating to Newport city centre.

The clinics will be hosted by Newport Now BID consultant and Board member, Dan Smith. With more than 15 years' experience of running a business in Newport and having been involved with Newport Now BID since its inception, Dan is well placed to discuss issues arising within businesses of all kinds.

Depending on the nature of the issue, Dan can either discuss and seek to help where appropriate or point businesses in the right direction to someone locally who may be able to provide them with more specific advice.

Topics could include current financial assistance or grants available, finding the right property for a business, internet marketing, HR or legal matters.

The clinics are provided by Newport Now BID completely free of charge.

So why not take advantage and book your 20-minute consultation?

To do so, please email [email protected] . You will then be contacted to
arrange a clinic appointment on Zoom/Teams/phone to suit you.
