Newport Development Celebrates Selling Out

By Newport · 12 Oct 2026 · 1 min read

A local housebuilder is celebrating a major milestone after selling the final home at its popular Newport development.

Redrow South Wales’ Parc Elisabeth, on Queens Road, launched in 2022 and has seen a thriving community built over the past few years – helping many first-time buyers step onto the property ladder in the region. Now, with all 77 homes built and sold, the housebuilder is preparing to close its doors at the site.

Sian Smith, Sales Director for Barratt David Wilson Redrow South Wales, said:

“It’s been wonderful to see the community at Parc Elisabeth grow and thrive since opening four years ago.

“It’s easy to see why the development has been such a huge success – with its fantastic location, offering a slice of the countryside while being close to the city, and homes that combine sleek, modern interiors with the practical functionality needed for everyday family living.

“The development is such a special place to live, and we are thrilled to have built such a blossoming community.”

The housebuilder is continuing to build at nearby developments, Parc Y Coleg, The Hollies at Great Milton Park and The Cedars at Great Milton Park, all on the outskirts of Newport.

House hunters can also utilise initiatives offered at these nearby developments, including part exchange and a deposit boost designed to help homebuyers through the process of moving.
