Cooke & Arkwright has successfully completed two new lettings at Wyndham Arcade in Cardiff city centre, securing tenants for adjoining units on behalf of landlord G Capital.
In June, leading skin and beauty clinic Body Basix relocated from Churchill Way to 7–9 Wyndham Arcade. More recently, All About Eve, a luxury bridal boutique, took occupation of 11–13 Wyndham Arcade in September.
Both units benefit from Wyndham Arcade’s architectural appeal and heritage status. Opened in 1887, the arcade is one of seven historic arcades in Cardiff. With protected shopfronts and distinctive Victorian features, it’s a prime location for independent, service-led retailers near John Lewis within the Hayes.
Cooke & Arkwright said the lettings reflected a broader trend in Cardiff city centre, where service-led and destination retailers are thriving. Unlike footfall-driven shopping centres, Wyndham Arcade attracts customers who book appointments and seek specialist services, complementing the vibrant mix of leisure, food, and boutique retail either side of the arcade, it added.
