With the Christmas tunes playing and the temperature dropping, it’s time to start thinking about starting, or finishing, your Christmas shopping. Whether you’re looking for last minute gifts or you’re starting from scratch, we’ve got you covered with our new pop-up shop in Riverside Shopping Centre.

Based in Riverside Shopping Centre, the Team at Shared Spaces Haverfordwest have already welcomed their first pop-up shop. Husband and wife team, Colin and Abigail Nash, create bespoke arts and crafts such as unique flower bouquets, hampers, gift items and beautiful stained glass. They will be in the trading unit until 22nd December and aim to find a more permanent trading location in the town.

Owner of Blooming Wonderfull, Abigail Nash, said:

“Having fallen in love with Haverfordwest and choosing to relocate here, we’re really grateful to have this opportunity to trade in Haverfordwest town centre. We have a great range of unique products that are ideal as Christmas or birthday gifts, as well as items that would look great around the house. All products are locally produced with many being upcycled into attractive pieces of work.”

The pop-up shop gives new businesses the chance to test trade a product or service in an area with plenty of shoppers. A new co-working space will also be opening in December. The meeting rooms will allow freelancers and small business owners to create a more professional image as and when they need it.

Gareth Thomas, Manager for Shared Spaces Haverfordwest, said of the tenancy:

“The launch of our Shared Spaces in Haverfordwest will be a great opportunity for start-ups and established businesses of Pembrokeshire to become part of our community. They’ll benefit from our range of services including our dedicated test trading unit in the heart of Riverside Shopping Centre. As a team, we’re excited to expand and look forward to welcoming many new faces through our doors.”

Business in Focus Chief Executive, Phil Jones, added:

“We’re all very excited to be opening another Shared Spaces in Pembrokeshire and build on the success of similar projects in Carmarthen and Newtown. Our aim is to provide a space for people to access a range of business services, such as co-working facilities and pop-up shops, in addition to the business advice and support, which includes loans and grants.

“Gareth Thomas has a strong track record of supporting both start-ups and established businesses in West Wales, and I’m sure he will make a success of this project too.”

If you’re thinking Shared Spaces could be the right fit for you, the spacious, open plan premises will be opening in January. You’ll find a variety of co-working packages to suit a range of needs.
